At the Ontario Universities Fair, recruiters from Ryerson get over 12,000 identification cards, sending emails and packages to students faster and more efficiently than any other year.
ince launching the Azorus suite of e-recruitment tools in September, 2005, Ryerson has had tremendous success with the system right from the start. The goal was to launch the solution just before the Ontario Universities Fair, an annual event that attracts tens of thousands of prospective students. Recruiters from Ryerson got 12, 000 identification cards at the fair and were able to send emails and packages out to students much more quickly and efficiently than any other year. Ryerson will once again lead the way this year employing the Azorus Field Tool and the latest in technology; Digital Ink. Students will fill out a traditional paper inquiry card at which point this file is “digitized” and then uploaded to the Azorus system. Students are immediately welcomed to their own personal web portal where the relationship building commences. This advanced tool eliminates manual staff data entry and speeds up communications to students. From there, Ryerson could communicate with their prospects much faster and provide them with a higher level of service.
