Halifax, NS, Canada; New Orleans, LA, USA — Azorus Inc. is very pleased to announce that the University of New Orleans has chosen the company for its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution.
The need for innovative ways to attract and retain the right students for higher education institutions has never been greater. Shifting demographics, increased accountability and ever tightening budgets places tremendous pressures on universities and colleges with ambitious growth plans to do more with less. The University of New Orleans (UNO) is no exception to these forces and continues to live with the legacy of Hurricane Katrina. The status quo was not an option for this historic and celebrated institution and as Mike Rivault, Chief Marketing Officer at UNO states, “The time has come for a new and innovative approach for this institution to attract more of the right students. We are uniquely positioned to offer students a highly relevant academic and personal experience unlike any other institution in the country. We understand that each student’s journey to the front door of UNO is unique and with our new CRM capabilities from Azorus we will be able to recognize our students’ needs earlier and help them as they consider one of the most important decisions of their lives.”
As Azorus CEO Stephen MacDonald explains, “This University really has an amazing story, and we are delighted to be affiliated with such a resilient institution. They have a clear view to the future and have recognized the needs of today’s web savvy students. Moreover, UNO acknowledges that CRM is based on an overall vision and strategy which also recognizes existing technology investments. We will be integrating with Oracle PeopleSoft, UNO’s student information system to ensure the best of both systems is enabled for students and administrators.”
The University of New Orleans was ranked amongst the nation’s top 20 most popular universities in the 2011 US World & News publication; demonstrating the true character of this resilient and diverse university.
