Ryerson University First in North America to have Azorus Inc. Integrate with IntelliResponse

Azorus. Inc., a web based software and services company providing solutions to post-secondary institutions for recruitment and building student relationships, has announced today that it will integrate its software with IntelliResponse in order to enhance its services to their common client, Ryerson University - located in Toronto, Canada.

Ryerson will be the first institution in North America to benefit from this new relationship between Azorus and IntelliResponse. "Our software integration with IntelliResponse represents a very compelling and complementary combination that will better serve the students of Ryerson University and other clients in the future" says Azorus Inc. CEO Stephen MacDonald.

Azorus Inc. is a privately held corporation providing software and services to universities and colleges, enabling them to build relationships with different student populations through the Web. Prospective students, who visit a university or college website that has the Azorus system, find what they want and need to know based on their own goals and interests. In addition to facilitating prospective student satisfaction, Azorus enables its higher education clients to improve their operational efficiencies by automating admission processes throughout the recruitment cycle. The dividend is improved student communications at lower costs.

IntelliResponse, is a web based software solution where people can pose questions in natural language and receive accurate, relevant and timely answers to their queries. Azorus and IntelliResponse have had a business partnership since the fall of 2003 and they will take their relationship to the next level in the coming months integrating both solutions for delivery to the higher education market in North America.

Sean Smith, IntelliResponse VP of Education Sales, says working with Azorus and IntelliResponse will enable Ryerson University to cut costs and improve customer satisfaction. "We have the capability to track the kinds of questions students are asking our system, and we will integrate that data with Azorus software to further tailor the information students receive. Their communications will become more relevant and more personalized" says Smith.

Charmaine Hack, Associate Registrar & Director of Undergraduate Admissions/Liaison for Ryerson University, says when Azorus integrates with IntelliResponse, it will represent a very exciting time for Ryerson University. "We have a very large school with thousands of students and prospective students to manage" says Hack. "We are thrilled to be on the cutting edge of web based customer care. Our job is about to get a whole lot easier and we couldn't be happier."

As part of the overall implementation of the Azorus system at Ryerson, MacDonald says Azorus will also integrate with Oracle PeopleSoft application, thereby providing seamless communication from prospect to applicant. MacDonald says our integration will bring web based self-service functionality to a whole new level.
