Students Choose Ryerson. Applications Up 17.5%

Azorus, a leader in CRM solutions focused on the recruitment and enrollment of prospective students, is pleased to share with you some very positive results from one of our clients, Ryerson University, of Toronto, Canada.

Since the launch of the Azorus suite of e-recruiting tools in September 2005, Ryerson University has experienced remarkable growth. The Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC), shows Ryerson University having 17.5% growth for fall 2007 in first-choice applicants. This compares to the provincial average of 5.2%.

Ryerson's positive results have continued from last year, when the University experienced a 7.4% increase in first-choice applications in fall 2006. In addition, Ryerson University experienced a 9% increase in applications by new recruits and a tremendous 25% increase in campus tour visits by prospective students. Overall, the last two academic years have been extremely successful for Ryerson University. Industry agrees with these results - Campus Technology Magazine, one of the most influential publications on higher education technology, named Ryerson University the Innovator of the Year in E-Recruitment in partnership with Azorus.
